Dr. Nancy Olsen MD

A Chicago native, Dr. Olsen received her undergraduate degree at Brown University and MD at the University of Chicago. She completed internal medicine training at Virginia Commonwealth University and rheumatology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She has been a faculty member in rheumatology divisions at Vanderbilt University, UT Southwestern and Penn State MS Hershey Medical Center, where she was the rheumatology division director. She was co-PI of the SMILE Trial which investigated the potential role of hydroxychloroquine in slowing the development of classifiable systemic lupus erythematosus.
