Dr. Uzma Haque MD

I am a clinician and clinical researcher and as a member of the Johns Hopkins Arthritis Center faculty since 2003, I have acquired considerable expertise in the evaluation and management of patients with inflammatory arthritis and with the careful assessment and collection of data for clinical research that will be of value in this project. More than 60% of the patients seen in our clinic have rheumatoid arthritis and are enrolled in a number of longitudinal studies, in which I have recruited and enrolled patients. These have included studies in which I have closely worked with Dr. Bingham and previously with Dr. Joan Bathon. Over the last 3 years, in collaboration with Dr. Bingham and Dr. Susan Bartlett, I designed and received funding to conduct an investigator-initiated randomized controlled clinical trial of Vitamin D supplementation in patients with RA.
