COVID-19:

What COVID19 precautions is RheumNow Live taking for live attendees?

The following are in place for the 2021 meeting:

  • Limited onsite attendees
  • In-room seating will be spaced and staggered so that attendees are separated by at least six feet from one another and from the stage.
  • Attendees are required to face coverings while in the meeting room.
  • Speakers are required to wear face coverings unless presenting from the podium.
  • Exhibitors will be separated by >12 feet and will be masked.
  • All food and beverages will be provided in single-serve quantities (e.g., no buffets).

 

What COVID19 precautions is the hotel taking?

The meeting room will be cleaned before and after the meeting each day. Hand sanitizer will be available in and outside the meeting room. What if the event itself is cancelled?

If local ordinances require the in-person meeting to be cancelled, the 2021 RheumNow Live meeting will still be conducted completely virtually. RheumNow Live is not responsible for costs associated with modifying/canceling travel arrangements.

March 20 – 21, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas – and virtually. All times listed on the program agenda are in the Central Time zone.

When and how can I access/download speaker materials and handouts?

Speaker materials, including pre-meeting documents and speaker slides, will be available on the RheumNow Live meeting platform. An announcement will be made to registrants when materials are available.

 

How do I switch my registration from live to virtual, or virtual to live?

Are speakers attending in person or are they presenting virtually?

Many speakers will be on site, and the rest will present virtually. All speakers will be available for live Q &A.

 

How do I make/modify my hotel reservation?

Group rate is available until March 1st, 2021.

To modify/cancel a reservation action, please contact the hotel directly at 817-870-1000. Any changes or cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the arrival date to avoid cancellations charges. Cancellation policy subject to change.

 

What is the cancellation policy for live and virtual attendees?

  • There is no fee to switch from live On-Site to Virtual attendee, or Virtual to On-Site attendee. To switch your registration type, please contact nicole@nmgmeetings.com.
  • Registrant cancellation must be completed by March 5, 2021. No refunds will be provided after March 5, 2021.
  • Submit your cancellation request through Cvent, using the email and password you registered with to access your registration.
  • Cancellations are subject to a $35 administrative fee, and refunds will be processed thirty (30) days after the meeting.
  • No refunds are issued for no-shows.
  • Cancelled registrations are non-transferrable.
  • Registrant is responsible for cancelling any hotel reservations.

 

Is there an app?

The 2021 RheumNow Live platform is fully mobile responsive and will work well in the browser of any device – computer, tablet or phone. There is no separate meeting app.

 

Is CME available?

CME is available for both in-person and virtual attendees, and must be claimed by September 30, 2021. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Cincinnati and RheumNow. The University of Cincinnati is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Physician Credit Designation: The University of Cincinnati designates this live activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

If I’m a virtual attendee, do I have to watch a session live to claim credit for it?

Yes, only the live activity held March 20-21, 2021 is accredited for CME credit.

 

Where and how do I claim credit, and is there a deadline?

You may access the course evaluation while logged in to the RNL platform. Click on the CME tab, complete the evaluations and your certificate will populate for you to print or download. Credit must be claimed by September 30, 2021.
