Dr. Weber is the director of the Cardio-Rheumatology clinic, associate physician in prevention cardiology and cardiovascular imaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. She is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania school of Medicine with a PhD in Immunology, completed internal medicine training, including serving as a chief medical resident, general cardiology and cardiovascular imaging research fellowship at the BWH. Her clinical interests include cardiovascular risk stratification and prevention with patients with systemic inflammatory disorders including the use of multi-modality imaging, specific anti-inflammatory medications and cardiovascular effects, specific CV manifestations within these inflammatory conditions, as well as pericardial disease and the use of novel anti-inflammatory treatments. Her research is broadly focused on translational research in systemic inflammatory conditions harnessing advanced cardiovascular imaging and immunology. Her work has concentrated on rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic disease with a focus on coronary microvascular dysfunction.
